We weren't the only ones fishing today, seemed like almost a million birds all diving into the ocean gulping up menhaden and other small fish.  We caught trout and croaker nearly every time we let our sting silver jigs into the water here.  They were small, but it was lots of fun!]]></description>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/jedandsusan/Fishing2006/photo#4999292079997976594" atomicselection="true"><img height="262" src="http://5-20.org/jed/wp-content/uploads/2006/11/WindowsLiveWriter/WhatTunaLooksLikeOutsideoftheCan_8693/DSC044525.jpg" width="350"></a> </p> <p>My friend Brian and I rode 35 miles out into the ocean from <a href="http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&amp;hl=en&amp;q=&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;z=12&amp;ll=35.780778,-75.540962&amp;spn=0.172685,0.244102&amp;t=h&amp;om=1" target="_blank">Oregon Inlet</a> on Sunday and caught&nbsp;four nice Yellowfin Tuna.&nbsp; It was a&nbsp;two hour ride out to the Gulf Stream that began at 5:30 in the morning.&nbsp; It was cold&nbsp;and the wave heights were about four feet.</p> <p>Once we got to the Gulf Stream the weather improved and the water was warm and we had a blast.&nbsp;&nbsp;We use an <a href="http://marine.rutgers.edu/mrs/show/?file=../regions/capehat/sst/noaa/2006/img/061119.323.2250.n15.jpg" target="_blank">SST Chart</a> to help locate the warmer waters and figure out where to fish.&nbsp; Sunday however, we followed Susan's uncle, Frank Adams, out there and we had a fish in the boat before 8AM.&nbsp; We trolled rigged ballyhoo on four rods behind the boat.&nbsp; We had two more rods on standby, but with just two of us to fight the fish, we didn't want to risk too many multiple hookups.</p> <p><a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/jedandsusan/Fishing2006/photo#4999292176857301010" atomicselection="true"><img height="262" src="http://5-20.org/jed/wp-content/uploads/2006/11/WindowsLiveWriter/WhatTunaLooksLikeOutsideoftheCan_8693/DSC044585.jpg" width="350"></a></p> <p>We had a great time, but were very sore after cleaning the fish and washing the boat... :)&nbsp; I hope our backs feel better so we can go out again sometime soon!&nbsp; To see more photos, click on my <a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/jedandsusan/Fishing2006">fishing photo album</a>.</p>]]></content:encoded>
